640 Miles | Petrol | Manual | Right Hand Drive

2022 Ariel Nomad The Ariel Nomad was developed as an off-road counterpart to the Atom, combining the same lightweight engineering philosophy with rugged capability. Built around the Atom 3 platform, it retains the exposed tubular chassis whilst adopting long-travel suspension, all-terrain tyres and a protective framework, making it a distinctive machine designed for both road and adventure-use. Power comes from a 2.4-litre four-cylinder Honda Civic engine producing 235bhp in standard form, with the option of a supercharger increasing output to 300bhp. Weighing from just 675kg (or around 800kg with certain options), performance is remarkable, with 0–60mph covered in 3.4 seconds and a top speed in the region of 130mph. Drive is delivered through a 6-speed Honda manual gearbox, with the chassis balance and acceleration figures placing it firmly in supercar territory despite its off-road focus. Practical options that could be specified include a hydraulic handbrake, heated glass windscreen, mobile phone charger, roof rack and a discreet glovebox beneath the nose, while Perspex splash guards offer limited but useful protection from the elements. Off-road features such as a front winch, heavy-duty tow eyes and a suspension system designed for extreme conditions emphasise the Nomad’s versatility. This Ariel Nomad is a 235bhp model with 6-speed manual transmission, finished with blue body panels over a satin black chassis and black alloy wheels. It is right-hand drive with an MPH speedometer and supplied with the factory Road Pack, which includes all lights and switchgear required for road-use. The mechanical specification includes a raised air intake, oil cooler system, stainless fittings for the brake and clutch lines, and a cockpit-adjustable remote brake bias. Suspension is uprated with the expensive option for FOX multi-adjustable hydraulic bump-stop dampers and two-piece springs, set up with an off-road bias. Braking is managed through a cockpit adjustable remote brake bias. Inside, occupants are secured by 2″ harnesses with alloy chest adjusters on both sides. Further features include a locking fuel cap, a 12v auxiliary socket, and a pair of aero (fly) screens for some protection yet 100kg lighter than the windscreen option. The Nomad sits on a 15″ wheel package fitted with 50/50 road and off-road tyres, with added protection including front suspension and body tub guards, a coolant pipe guard, and a sump guard/bash plate. In summary, this is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a virtually as-new Ariel Nomad from its first and only owner, showing just 640 miles and correctly road-registered with a current V5C ready for transfer or export. With its striking specification and rugged engineering, it offers huge versatility as both an exhilarating road car and a highly capable off-road machine.
